DOWSIL™ TC-4040 Dispensable Thermal Pad is a two-part, thermally conductive silicone-based material designed for gap filling, heat dissipation, stress relief, and shock damping. It cures into a soft thermal pad and has a thermal conductivity of 4.0 W/mK, helping to enhance device thermal management. The material can be dispensed manually or via automated processes and cures at room temperature or with heat acceleration. It provides low stress to components, operates over a broad temperature range (-45 to 200°C), and is UL94 V-0 rated for flammability resistance.
