Product Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-1469 is a one-part, 100% solids, thermosetting liquid adhesive formulated for high-strength structural bonding in aerospace and industrial applications. It provides exceptionally high strength at service temperatures ranging from -70°F to 300°F (-57°C to 149°C) and emits no volatile by-products during curing, making it ideal for bonding impervious surfaces under minimal pressure. The adhesive is easily applied using a spatula, trowel, roller, or high-pressure injection, making it versatile for multiple bonding applications.

Key Features

  • High-Temperature Resistance: Performs effectively at -70°F to 300°F (-57°C to 149°C).
  • No Volatile By-Products: Enables bonding of impervious surfaces under minimal pressure.
  • Easy Application: Can be applied via knife coating, trowel, roller, or pump injection.
  • Excellent Strength Retention: Maintains bond integrity after aging in various environments.
  • Precise Application Control: Compatible with high-pressure extrusion equipment.

Recommended Applications

  • Structural bonding of metals, composites, and plastics in aerospace and industrial applications.
  • Bonding impervious surfaces where minimal applied pressure is required.
  • Applications requiring high-temperature durability and environmental aging resistance.
