Product Description:

Plexus® MA8110 is a direct-to-metal, low-halogen, two-part methacrylate structural adhesive designed for bonding various metals, engineered thermoplastics, and composite assemblies. It works well on galvanized and zinc-treated steel with little to no surface preparation.

With a 1:1 mix ratio, MA8110 has a working time of 8 – 12 minutes at 75°F (23.9°C) and achieves 500 psi in 35 – 40 minutes and 1000 psi in 44 – 50 minutes at 75°F (23.9°C).

The adhesive provides high strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance, along with superior thin-film curing properties. It contains 0.012-inch (0.3 mm) inert glass beads to control bondline thickness and is available with or without glass-bead spacers.

Key Features:

Primerless Adhesion to Metals: Bonds aluminum, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and more without the need for primers.
Superior Thin-Film Cure: Ensures strong bonding even with thin adhesive layers.
High Strength & Toughness: Provides excellent impact resistance and durability.
Low Halogen Content: Meets environmental and safety regulations.
Good Fatigue & Corrosion Resistance: Ideal for transportation, marine, and industrial applications.

Recommended Applications:

🔹 Transportation: Structural bonding in automotive, rail, and aerospace industries.
🔹 Industrial Manufacturing: Bonding metal and plastic components in heavy machinery and appliances.
🔹 Marine Applications: Used in boat and ship construction for bonding composite and metal components.
