SilFORT™ PHC587C2 is a non-yellowing, siloxane-based clear coat designed to provide long-term protection against environmental degradation, including UV exposure, weathering, and chemical exposure. This coating is formulated for polycarbonate substrates and offers primerless adhesion, enabling a single-coat process with high durability and scratch resistance.
It is particularly effective in preventing long-term cracking due to UV exposure, making it ideal for automotive applications such as forward lighting components. The product complies with ECE regulations for European automotive lighting applications.
