1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® SF 790™ is a solvent-based cleaner designed to remove baked-on chemical gaskets, gasket cements, and conventional gasket materials from metal surfaces. It is supplied as an aerosol spray for easy application on intricate shapes and vertical surfaces.

2. Applications

• Removal of baked-on gaskets and gasket cements from metal surfaces
• Dissolving chemical formed-in-place gaskets, including RTV silicone and anaerobic materials
• Cleaning gaskets from aluminum components without scraping or damage
• Removing gaskets from small or hard-to-reach areas
• Stripping high-temperature engine paints before repairs
• Cleaning built-up carbon deposits from engine/combustion surfaces
• Pre-cleaning baked-on grease and oil deposits before solvent washing
