1. Product Overview

EV Therm 440GB is a modified structural acrylic adhesive designed for high-strength bonding with excellent thermal conductivity and flame retardancy (UL94 V0). It contains 0.25mm spacer glass beads for an optimal bondline and requires no surface preparation for bonding metals, thermoplastics, and thermosets. The adhesive cures at room temperature and offers high impact resistance and strong adhesion to various substrates.


2. Applications

EV Therm 440GB is used in EV battery assemblies, automotive, electronics, and industrial applications, providing:
Strong adhesion to metals, e-coated metals, thermoplastics, and thermosets
Flame retardant bonding (UL94 V0 rated)
Thermal conductivity for heat dissipation in electronic components
High impact resistance for structural durability
No surface preparation required

Recommended Substrates:

  • Metals: Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, e-coated metals
  • Thermosets: Fiberglass, epoxy, polyurethane, phenolic, gel coat, RIM urethane
  • Thermoplastics: ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, nylon, PET blends, PBT blends, vinyl (some require surface treatment)
