3M™ Scotch® Bi-Directional Filament Tape 8959 is a specialty packaging tape reinforced with continuous glass yarns in both the longitudinal and transverse directions. This bi-directional reinforcement, combined with a biaxially oriented polypropylene backing, provides excellent abrasion, moisture, and scuff resistance. The pressure-sensitive synthetic rubber-resin adhesive ensures strong adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, including metallic, plastic, and fiberboard.
