LOCTITE® HYDX-20 is a water-soluble liquid flux designed for wave soldering, especially for surfaces with poor solderability where water cleaning is acceptable. It offers readily water-cleanable residues, no white residue after cleaning, and a sustained activity to maximize process efficiency. It performs well on difficult-to-solder surfaces and is highly effective for high-speed soldering of both conventional leaded and SMD components. The product ensures good through-hole penetration without affecting properly cured solder resists.
LOCTITE® HYDX-20 is recommended for electronics applications where water cleaning is acceptable. It is suitable for applications requiring high performance and reliability. It can be applied using foam, wave, or spray fluxing.
