Product Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 2214, Non-Metallic Filled, is a paste consistency epoxy adhesive designed for structural bonding applications requiring high-temperature resistance. This one-part, heat-curing epoxy adhesive is specifically formulated to bond metals and high-temperature plastics, such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic, polyester, and phenolics. The non-metallic filled formula offers strong adhesion without conductivity, and its paste consistency allows for precise application and controlled bondline thickness. This adhesive is also UL 94 HB rated, ensuring compliance with flammability resistance requirements.

Key Features

  • Paste Consistency: Provides controlled application and bondline thickness.
  • High-Temperature Resistance: Cures at 250°F (121°C) for strong and durable bonds.
  • Non-Metallic Filled: Ensures non-conductivity and structural integrity.
  • Versatile Bonding: Bonds well to metals and high-temperature plastics.
  • UL 94 HB Rated: Meets flammability resistance requirements.

Recommended Applications

  • Bonding high-temperature plastics and composites such as fiberglass-reinforced plastics, polyester, and phenolics.
  • Structural bonding of metals in aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.
  • Applications requiring high-temperature strength and flame resistance.
