FX191BL3 is a one-component moisture-curing silicone adhesive/sealant that cures upon exposure to air without requiring additional processing. It is specifically designed for bonding plastics, metals, and glass, making it suitable for various industrial and manufacturing applications. The curing mechanism releases alcohol gas, eliminating the strong odors associated with polyurethane (PU) and deoximation-based sealants.
This product offers several advantages, including a convenient manufacturing process, excellent thixotropy (preventing sagging), and strong adhesion to different materials without requiring a primer. It is designed for Formed-in-Place Gasket (FIPG) applications and provides resistance to long-term compression, temperature variations, humidity, and yellowing.
Additionally, FX191BL3 complies with the 2011/65/EU RoHS regulations, ensuring it meets environmental and safety standards. Once cured, it forms a soft yet tough material that maintains its integrity under various conditions.
