Product Description

Plexus® MA420W is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastics, metals, and composite assemblies. Combined at a 10:1 mix ratio, MA420W is a rapid-curing system intended to provide a faster fixture time compared to similar products. It is ideal for composite bonding applications in the transportation industry as it requires virtually no surface preparation. The adhesive also provides excellent fatigue endurance, impact resistance, and toughness.

MA420W is available in blue and is supplied in ready-to-use cartridges and bulk packaging for manual, pneumatic, or automated dispensing.

Key Features

  • Fast Cure Speed: Provides a rapid fixture time, ideal for high-speed assembly.
  • Minimal Surface Preparation: Bonds many substrates without priming or sanding.
  • Excellent Impact & Fatigue Resistance: Superior strength and flexibility for dynamic loads.
  • Wide Material Compatibility: Bonds aluminum, stainless steel, ABS, acrylic, PVC, fiberglass, and more.
  • Non-Sag Gel: Easily dispenses and remains in place for vertical and overhead applications.

Recommended Applications

  • Transportation: Bonding composite and metal components in automotive, marine, and aerospace.
  • Construction: Structural bonding of composite and thermoplastic panels.
  • Industrial Equipment: Bonding metals and plastics in general manufacturing.
  • Sporting Goods: Used in assembly of lightweight and impact-resistant components.
