Product Description:

Plexus® MA3940 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. It is particularly suitable for bonding substrates sensitive to chemical crazing, such as acrylic or polycarbonate. The adhesive offers a unique combination of excellent fatigue endurance, outstanding impact resistance, and superior toughness. It is supplied in ready-to-use cartridges, pails, or drums and dispenses as a non-sagging gel.

Key Features:

  • Medium Working Time: 12 – 15 minutes.
  • Exceptional Low-Temperature Impact Resistance.
  • Fast, Consistent Strength Development at Room Temperature.
  • High Elongation and Excellent Stress Distribution.
  • Low Modulus and Non-Crazing.

Recommended Applications:

  • Thermoplastics: ABS/ABS Blends, Acrylics, PBT, Polycarbonate, Rigid PVC, TPUs.
  • Composites: DCPD, FRP, Gelcoat, Phenolics, Epoxy-Based Composites, RIM.
  • Coated Metals: Powder-Coated or E-Coated Metals.
