RTV88 is a high-viscosity, two-part, high-temperature silicone elastomer from Momentive. Supplied as a base compound with a standard dibutyl tin dilaurate (DBT) curing agent, it offers excellent thermal stability, adhesion (with primer), and release properties. It is ideal for demanding applications such as potting motors, rubber mold fabrication, and insulation under harsh conditions. It cures at room temperature and remains elastomeric from -54 °C to 260 °C, with short-term resistance up to 316 °C.
