1. Product Overview

LOCTITE® SF 770 is a surface primer designed to enhance the adhesion of cyanoacrylate adhesives on low-energy surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, and thermoplastic rubber. It is a transparent to slightly hazy liquid with very low viscosity and contains isopropyl acetate as a solvent. The primer improves bonding performance but is not recommended for applications requiring high peel strength.

2. Applications

  • Priming low-energy surfaces for bonding with cyanoacrylate adhesives
  • Suitable for materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, and thermoplastic rubber
  • Used in industries where bonding of difficult substrates is required
  • Applied via spraying, brushing, or dipping
