1. Product Overview

Araldite® AV 138M-1 / Hardener HV 998-1 is a two-component, room-temperature curing epoxy adhesive that offers high strength, excellent chemical resistance, and temperature resistance up to 140°C. It has a thixotropic, gap-filling paste consistency, making it ideal for applications requiring high-performance bonding under aggressive or warm environments.


2. Applications

This adhesive is suitable for bonding a wide range of materials, including:

  • Metals (Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper, Brass)
  • Ceramics and Glass
  • Rigid Plastics (ABS, PVC, PMMA, Polycarbonate, etc.)
  • Rubber
  • Composite Materials (GRP, CFRP, SMC)

It is widely used in industrial applications where resistance to harsh chemicals, heat, and mechanical stress is required.
