1. Product Overview

Araldite® 70 is a vinyl-phenolic resin-based coating system used primarily as a primer and friction lining adhesive. It is suitable for steel surfaces, providing corrosion protection and enhancing bonding performance. The product was formerly known as Redux 70.

2. Applications

  • Used as a primer for metals, especially steel.
  • Applied in brake and clutch bonding to improve adhesion.
  • Suitable for brushing, spraying, roller coating, or dipping.
  • Recommended for use with Araldite® 64-1 and Araldite® 71 adhesives.
