1. Product Overview

DOWSIL™ CC-1910 is a solvent-free, one-part, polydimethylsiloxane-based conformal coating with added UV indicator. It is designed for PCB system assemblies, offering good flowability, fast tack-free time, and low-stress elastomeric properties. The coating cures at room temperature (RTV) with the option of heat acceleration.

2. Applications

  • Protective conformal coating for printed circuit board (PCB) system assemblies
  • Suitable for various application methods due to different viscosity versions
  • Provides stress relief for delicate components in different environments

3. Typical Properties

Property Unit Result

4. Additional Information

  • Curing: Moisture-curing RTV; full cure time can be accelerated with mild heat (≤60°C)
  • Adhesion: Develops over 72 hours; may require primers for low-energy surfaces
  • Temperature Resistance: Operational range -45°C to 200°C, with possible performance down to -55°C
  • Repairability: Can be removed via scraping, solvents, or soldering iron
  • Storage & Handling: Store in tightly sealed containers, minimize exposure to moisture, and purge with dry air/nitrogen if needed
