LOCTITE® 262™ is a high-strength, permanent threadlocker designed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners. It is an anaerobic adhesive that cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. The product is a red, medium-viscosity liquid with thixotropic properties, reducing migration after application. It is suitable for fasteners up to M25 in size and offers secondary curing using an activator.
