LOCTITE® 518™ is a single-component, medium-strength, anaerobic sealant that cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. It provides resistance to low pressures immediately after assembly and is designed for sealing rigid metal flanges, such as those in gearbox and engine casings. The product is thixotropic, reducing migration after application.
