Product Description:

Plexus® MA8105 is an advanced direct-to-metal, two-part methacrylate structural adhesive designed for bonding metals, plastics, and composite assemblies. It offers high strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance with minimal surface preparation. The adhesive is available in gray and can be supplied with or without glass-bead spacers (GB) to maintain consistent bondline thickness during high-pressure clamping. It is dispensed as a non-sagging gel.

Key Features:

  • Fast Fixture Time: Reduces assembly time, increasing throughput.
  • Primerless Adhesion: Bonds metals without the need for primers, saving time and labor.
  • High Strength & Toughness: Provides excellent impact resistance and durability.
  • Excellent Fatigue Resistance: Maintains strength under cyclic loads.
  • Versatile Bonding: Effective on metals, engineered thermoplastics (including polyamides), and composites.

Recommended Applications:

  • Industrial Manufacturing: Bonding metal and plastic components.
  • Transportation: Structural bonding in automotive, rail, and aerospace industries.
  • Marine: Assembly of boats and marine structures.
