ELAN‑protect® UP 142 is part of ELANTAS’s Innovative Secondary Insulating Materials portfolio. It is a single‑component polyester‑imide resin developed for high‑performance electrical insulation. Formulated to be VOC‑free and extremely stable, the resin is engineered to provide very low emissions along with a rapid surface drying rate. Its low viscosity and high bond strength ensure that it offers reliable impregnation for windings, making it an ideal solution for stators and transformers where thermal endurance (up to 180 °C) and mechanical resilience are critical.
