Product Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Acrylic Adhesive DP8425NS is a two-part, high-performance acrylic adhesive that provides excellent shear, peel, and impact strength. It is specifically designed for bonding metals, plastics, and composites, including slightly oily surfaces. This toughened adhesive has a controlled bond line thickness due to glass bead content and cures rapidly, achieving structural strength in less than an hour.

Key Features

  • High-strength bonding – excellent adhesion to metals and plastics
  • Toughened formula – outstanding impact and vibration resistance
  • Fast curing – structural strength in 50 – 56 minutes
  • 10:1 mix ratio – ensures consistent bond line thickness
  • Good environmental resistance – withstands moisture, temperature, and chemicals
  • No primer required – bonds to slightly oily surfaces

Recommended Applications

  • Automotive and transportation – bonding panels, frames, and enclosures
  • Aerospace and defense – composite bonding applications
  • Industrial and manufacturing – replacing welding, screws, and rivets
  • Signage and display – durable, weather-resistant bonding
  • Electronics and electrical assembly – vibration-resistant adhesion
