Product Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Threadlocker TL90 is a low-viscosity, medium-strength, one-component anaerobic adhesive designed for locking and sealing small compression and ferrule fittings. It is a wicking-grade adhesive, allowing it to be applied after assembly and providing fast setting and reliable vibration resistance. It cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and provides excellent protection against corrosion, leaks, and loosening due to shock and vibration.

Key Features

  • Wicking Grade: Low viscosity allows for application after parts are assembled.
  • Medium Strength: Securely locks threads while allowing for disassembly when necessary.
  • Prevents Corrosion: Seals threads completely to prevent rust and leaks.
  • Shock and Vibration Resistant: Ideal for securing fasteners in high-vibration environments.
  • Fast Setting: Handling strength achieved in 25 minutes on average.
  • Temperature Resistance: Withstands continuous exposure up to 200°C (392°F).

Recommended Applications

  • Threadlocking small compression and ferrule fittings.
  • Sealing threaded assemblies against vibration and leaks.
  • Preventing corrosion in mechanical assemblies.
  • Applications where post-assembly application is required.
