Product Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 2214 Regular is a paste consistency epoxy adhesive designed for structural bonding applications requiring high-temperature performance. This one-part, 100% solids, heat-curing epoxy is aluminum-filled, making it ideal for applications requiring high-strength bonds in temperature ranges of -67°F to 250°F (-53°C to 121°C). It is formulated for bonding metals and high-temperature plastics, such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic, polyester, and phenolics.

Key Features

  • High-Temperature Resistance: Performs effectively between -67°F to 250°F (-53°C to 121°C).
  • Aluminum-Filled: Provides higher strength retention at elevated temperatures.
  • Paste Consistency: Allows for precise application and controlled bondline thickness.
  • Excellent Aging Performance: Maintains bond integrity over long-term exposure.
  • One-Part Formula: Requires no mixing before application.

Recommended Applications

  • Bonding high-temperature plastics and composites such as fiberglass-reinforced plastics, polyester, and phenolics.
  • Structural bonding of metals in aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.
  • Applications requiring high-temperature strength and long-term durability.
