RTV157 and RTV159 are one-component, ready-to-use silicone adhesive sealants designed for high-strength bonding, gasketing, and sealing applications. These materials cure to a tough, resilient rubber upon exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature.

Both RTV157 and RTV159 offer excellent weatherability, ozone resistance, and electrical insulation properties. RTV159 is specifically designed for high-temperature applications, making it suitable for extreme environments up to 315°C (600°F).

These sealants should not be used for applications exceeding 6mm (1/4 inch) in thickness. For deeper sections, a two-component or addition-cure silicone rubber is recommended.
